Ernest is a man who is in love with God, his family, and others. He truly desires to “Love God, Love People”.

He grew up in a pastor’s home just outside of Houston, TX. Although he learned to play the part real well there was no real relationship when it came to Jesus. It was at the age of 12 while at a youth rally that he let his guard down and God was able to show him his need for a savior. He knew all of the stories and all about Christ but that day he made it a reality in his life.

Things were great until he reached high school and the desire to be accepted began to lead to wrong decisions. While still playing “church” on Sundays he began to turn his heart from God and follow after the empty promises of this world. It wasn’t until his senior year that things would be any different.

Through the help of a girl who would not give him the time of day until he was willing to change his ways, Ernest began to soften his heart to God once again.

After graduating from high school he eventually married that girl and they now have two beautiful children.

They became actively involved in their local church and in 1998 surrendered their lives to ministry. Ernest earned a BS degree in Bible and Missions and has served in full-time student ministry for over 7 years. God has since called them to extend their ministry beyond that of the local church and travel and speak when given the opportunity.
